Internal Advisory Committee

The Internal Advisory Committee (IAC) meets twice each year with the HADRC Executive Committee to help guide the Center’s strategic direction. During these meetings, Core Leads and other investigators provide brief updates on core activities and scientific progress, followed by active discussion with IAC members. In the second half of each meeting, IAC members lead the conversation by asking questions and offering recommendations to strengthen the Center’s work. The IAC includes Houston area AD/ADRD investigators who are not part of the Executive Committee, other distinguished neurodegeneration researchers, and lay community members with an interest in Alzheimer’s and related dementias research.
