Linking Biomarkers to Clinical Progression and Imaging Outcomes
What this project does
Connects biomarker patterns to real outcomes: cognition, MRI changes, and amyloid/tau PET.
Why it matters clinically
Clinicians care about whether biomarkers predict what happens to patients. This project makes biomarker results clinically meaningful.
Key activities
-Correlate established + emerging biomarkers with: cognitive performance, MRI measures, PET amyloid/tau metrics (where available)
-Examine progression and subtype patterns, including sex-specific associations
What will be delivered
-Biomarker-to-progression models
-Candidate “biomarker signatures” that predict trajectory or subtype
Who this helps
-Clinicians planning counseling and follow-up intensity
-Researchers designing trials and stratification strategies
